At Terra Sacra, we ship carefully so your order arrives in excellent condition. Below you’ll find our processing times, shipping methods, delivery expectations, and what to do if there is a delivery issue.
Processing Times
Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays).
During peak periods, processing may take up to 3–5 business days.
Processing time begins after your order is placed and payment is confirmed. Delivery time begins only after the order has shipped.
Shipping Methods and Delivery Times
Shipping options available for your order.
Estimated transit times are:
- Standard Shipping: 2–6 business days
- Expedited Shipping: 1–3 business days, when available at checkout
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may be affected by weather, holidays, carrier delays, or high seasonal volume.
Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on:
- package weight
- package dimensions
- destination
- shipping method selected
Free Shipping
We offer free standard shipping on orders over $200 within the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, when shown at checkout.
Free shipping does not apply to expedited shipping services.
Hot Weather Shipping
To protect heat-sensitive products such as chocolate, olive oil, and cheese, we use special hot-weather shipping practices from May through September.
- Heat-sensitive orders are shipped only on Mondays to minimize transit time and avoid weekend warehouse holds.
- Orders placed Tuesday through Sunday during this period will ship the following Monday.
- A hot-weather shipping surcharge is applied at checkout to cover insulated packaging and ice or gel packs. The exact amount is calculated based on your order contents and destination, and is shown before you place your order.
- Even with insulated packaging, some softening or texture changes may occur in chocolate during extreme heat. We do our best to minimize this and will work with you on any quality issues upon arrival.
If you would like to delay a shipment due to weather conditions at your location, please contact us at info@theterrasacra.com as soon as possible after placing your order.
Shipping Destinations
Terra Sacra currently ships within the United States only, including Alaska and Hawaii.
We do not offer international shipping at this time.
If shipping to certain locations is unavailable for a specific product or service level, that will be shown at checkout.
PO Boxes
Some shipping methods may not be available for PO Boxes. If a carrier cannot deliver to your address, the unavailable option will not appear at checkout.
Tracking Information
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.
Please allow 24–48 hours for tracking updates to appear after the shipping label has been created.
We may use carriers such as UPS and USPS, depending on destination and service level.
Address Accuracy
Please make sure your shipping address is complete and correct at checkout, including apartment, suite, unit, or gate information where applicable.
Terra Sacra is not responsible for delays, failed delivery attempts, or lost packages caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided at checkout.
Address Changes
If you need to update your shipping address, please contact us as soon as possible at info@theterrasacra.com.
We will do our best to help, but address changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has been processed, a shipping label has been created, or the package is already in transit.
Delivered but Not Received
If your tracking shows delivered but you cannot locate your package, please:
- check around the delivery location
- ask household members, neighbors, or building staff
- contact the carrier directly for more details
If you still cannot locate the package, email us at info@theterrasacra.com and include your order number so we can assist with next steps.
Damaged Orders
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@theterrasacra.com.
Please include:
- your order number
- photos of the outer shipping box
- photos of the inner packaging
- photos of the damaged item or items
- a photo of the shipping label, if available
After review, we may offer a replacement, store credit, or refund, depending on the situation and product availability.
